Dell xps 9500 camera not working
having trouble with my dell xps 9500 the webcam on my laptop has not been working. When I try and use the windows camera app, it shows error code 0xA00F4244 see attached and In device manager, camera drivers are not showing
what to do?

Read this from Microsoft, which applies to Win 10 and Win 11...

am running Windows 11 Pro 22H2... and the link and automated steps didnt help ... web camera still not working . thanks for the suggestion

I recently used a different XPS model with built-in Intel camera. Was getting "no camera" errors with Win11 22H2 too. Couldn't get it to work either. So this may be something Microsoft and Intel have to fix...

yah i have unfortunately had my dell xps built in webcam not work for 5 almost months now, i have decided to buy an external webcam

I have a XPS 15 9500 too and I'm getting the same issue. I've even done a clean window install and still it doesn't work. I know it's not a hardware issue because I've got it to turn on a few times messing around here and there trying to fix it. Honestly sad given how expensive this device is and now I can't even sell it because the camera is not working
