XPS 15 Ownership transfer
I have been trying to transfer the ownership of my XPS 9510 15 to my name, which I have bought in E-bay that came with original receipt from Dell from the previous owner. It's been more than 2 weeks now since I sent the application to Dell and until now I had not yet get any confirmation from Dell about the transfer of ownership. What could be hindering the transfer? Is there any other way to successfully transfer it to my name? thank you for your help.

Update= Resolved-the ownership transfer has been completed successfully.

So that is business days so 2 weeks for Domestic and 3 weeks for international. You can also contact Customer Support with the request ID for more information.

Even if you do not transfer ownership of the used computer, all of Dell free support is available by just using the model name and number.
Check the service tag at Dell Support to see what part of the one yr warranty is left. If no time is left, don't bother with the transfer.
