XPS 9530 (2023) Touchpad daily glitch and erratic behavior

Once or twice a day my touchpad/trackpad will start to glitch out and the cursor will move erratically when trying to scroll. When this is happening two-finger scrolling, one-finger tap clicking, and three-finger window swiping is more or less non-functional. The problem lasts for 10-30 seconds at a time. Note that arrow keys still work for scrolling while I'm unable to scroll on the touchpad. This has been happening ever since I received the device in January 2024.
