PS6000 drives degaussed - showing as failed

Hello all,

I picked up a used EqualLogic PS6000 and the drives had been labeled as "degaussed" when I acquired it.  All of the drives are showing as failed when the system initializes.  I have tried running the reset command but it can't zero them out giving the error "ClassResetSystem - Enclosure/Drive 0/x drive did not respond after a drive reset operation, reset may not complete successfully!" for all drives.  I have tried resetting it without any drives, but can't go through the setup command as it states "Cannot create mini RAID set".

What options can I take to get the system to recognize the drives again?  Since they were degaussed, is it possible the EqualLogic firmware was wiped off them?

I do have a spare PS4000 with drives that can be pulled and used if that would help in some way.  It is configured with a RAID policy currently, but can be wiped.
