High CPU usage while playing audio and "audio dropouts"
Hello,
I've purchased recently Dell Inspiron 15 5578, since than I'm trying unsuccessfully to deal with this problem: while playing music on the computer, the CPU usage meter seems to be much high than how I know it should be, then suddenly, once in awhile, I'm experiencing an "audio dropout" which means that the audio pauses for a fraction of second.
The dropouts occur especially while I'm playing through a DJ controller (reloop Beatmix2), that connected though the 3.0 USB port, but the problem exist also when the controller is not connected and I'm playing directly through the computer.
I've tried to update all the drivers from Dell website, update reloop Beatmix driver and firmware software, update graphics driver, update network adapter driver, disable C-State Transition and Turbo Boost, adjust Power Options, disable USB Power Management and install the latest device drivers.
Unfortunately, there was no improvement.
These are my computer specs:
Dell Inspiron 15 5578
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
OS Drive: SK hynix SC311 SATA 512gb
I would be glad for any help that could solve the issue.
thanks in advance,
Alon
