Hello Everyone!!

I really hope someone on here can help me, as I am at loss!! (Please excuse the long post)

The Laptop I have is an Dell Inspiron 5767, Intel Core I7. 1TB hard drive.

So my issue is as follows - my partners cat was sick on the laptop whilst it was closed. I cleaned the sick off the laptop, but it looks like a some of it went into to the right hand USB port without me realising. I turned on the  laptop and it started making funny noises and and after a little while it started to run the diagnosis. It returned saying that no Hard Drive was detected. I opened the laptop and checked all connections, that is when I noticed liquid on the hard drive. Biting the bullet and realising that I have lost everything on my hard drive, I purchased a new hard drive. Exactly the same as the one that is now with Hard Drive Gods!!! It is a Toshiba 1TB Hard Drive SATA 3.0Gb/s 5400RPM 8MB Cache 2.5 inch.

I ensured that everything was clean and dry and installed new Hard Drive. I turn on the Laptop and run diagnosis to ensure everything is ok. I also did a full diagnosis scan. No reports returned, everything looks OK!! So I have on old HP laptop that I use for emergencies!! I down loaded Windows Media onto a USB stick (followed all instructions on web) Plugged USB into the Dell and switched on. Loads windows install screen, get to the 'Where do you want to install Windows?' Screen, the only option I have is - Drive 0 Unallocated Space 931.5GB. The only options to me are Refresh, Load Driver and New. Have tried New with 953869MB click apply, I get error (0xa6380330). If I click on next i get the error (ox80300024)

I have used the Command prompt to access diskpart. I ensure that Disk 0 (931 GB) is selected. It cleans Disk 0.

I then try to partition the drive, but I get an I/O device error!!!

If there is anyone out there that can help me, before I lose my mind!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!
