Dell XPS

Yesterday I moved my computer and desk. After plugging it back in first the audio didn't work. Fixed that problem. Then I started it back up again and the computer would not go past the windows splash screen. Instead I got a black screen. Restarted same thing. So I then started it in safe mode and restored it to a previous date. Started it up and it worked. I left my computer on last night got up and found a black screen again.......not in sleep mode. So I restarted the computer and still the black screen after the splash screen. I don't want to lose my data. Ideas of what I can do? thanks
