I recently did a fresh install of Window 7 Ultimate (64-bit).  My computer will not dim.  The controls were not working at first (F4/F5 would bring the brightness down one notch, but that is it).  I updated the BIOS to 12 and the F4/F5 controls now work, but the monitor brightness does not change.  I cannot dim my monitor at all and it is draining the battery.  I have the "power saver" option selected and even when I unplug the A/C adapter the monitor still stays on max brightness.  Any suggestions?  Much thanks.
