New Dell 2407WFP-HC, component issue.
Okay so I got an exchange on my Dell 2407WFP-HC since its composite was busted.
I got my new one up and running and decided to try out the component now that my composite was working fine! I hooked up my PS2 through component, which works like a charm on my LG LCD TV. I was sorely disapointed! feint moving lines mar the screen completely (screenshots included at end of post!)
The PS2 outputs 576i (PAL) which apparently shouldnt be an issue, so I really dont know what to do about it.

Component(you can clearly see the lines in the background with the gradients, they are much more obstructive in RL because they flicker):
