DVD/CD Rewriter: No device detected
Hello!
I bought an Internal DVD/CD Rewriter but the device is not detected. In the forum I find no solution, so I decided to post (the first time).
- First I removed the old DVD/CD Rewriter.
Sony DVD+/-RW AW-Q1-60S
Controller: Serial ATA
Port: SATA-1
- Using the same SATA power und signal cable next I attached the new DVD/CD Rewriter.
LG Internal Super Multi DVD Rewriter 24x
Modell: GH24NS50
Interface: Serial ATA
- After starting the Computer the DVD/CD Rewriters LED is not blinking. On the screen appears the message:
*********

Drive 1 not found: Serial ATA, SATA-1
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility

- The BIOS Drives SATA-Operation is set to "RAID On" (not "RAID Autodetected / ATA").
My System:
- Dell Dimension E520 - bought March 2007
- Windows Vista Home Basic, SP 2
- Dimension System BIOS, version 2.4.0
- Storage Controllers (listed in the Device Manager)
- Intel(R) ICH8R/ICH9R SATA RAID Controller, version 7.5.0.1017
- Microsoft iSCSI-Initiator, version 6.0.6002.18005
Can someone help me? Thanks a lot in advance.
Andreas
