I have Dell Vostro 3500 laptop. It is asking for a BitLocker recovery key after the latest Windows 11 update. The current message is: You need to enter your recovery key because Secure Boot policy has unexpectedly changed.

I don't have the key as I even didn't know that the BitLocker is enabled on my machine.

I check my 2 MS accounts and the key is not there.

As far as I understand - the root cause can be either due to Bios update through the Windows update or the latest KB5012170 Windows update.

What I tried and it is not working:

- downgrade the Bios to an earlier version (1.10)

- enable/disable Secure Boot and TPM 2.0

- uninstall the latest quality/feature updates trough the Advanced options - both are failing

Any recommendations are welcome.
