Anybody have an easy fix for a dreaded hal.dll error? Have tried to reinstall Windows XP but get the error message that this my system 32 has a corrupted hal.dll error. Tried these forums, Microsoft, tried to edit the Bios file but it says it is read only. Can anybody provide an easy way to fix this that doesnt involve complex programming? Thanks.
