POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
My experience with Dell lately has been very painful. My Inspiron 17 7779 2-in-1 laptop started giving me problem in late October when it mouse used to start rotating on its own and used to go on the right top corner. I could not do anything on this laptop.
From my desktop computer I placed for single incident support for Advance software Support paying $145.77 as had expired. Thereafter, I tried numerous times to contact Dell Technical support but was never able to get hold of anyone.
Finally in December my laptop completely failed and will not even log-in. I placed for Single Incident Support, Diagnostics via Mail in Service paying $58.76.
Now I have received a quote $345.37 for repairs. But what will happened to the initial amount of $145.77 against which Dell Technical Support did nothing as I was not even to able to approach them.
I have made more than dozen calls after I had placed. Whenever I call, Dell’s auto telephone service experience is extremely painful. After back-and-forth question/answers it always gives a message “unfortunately the department you are calling is closed”.
I am not sure what remedy I have? Can someone from Dell call me. People should not buy from Dell as its after sales service is POOR.
