Motherboard problem?
Lately, when I try to connect to the internet using a cable, the Local Area Connection box comes up and says its not connected to the internet, then a split second later, says that I am, and then once more flips back to not connected. I thought it was the cable, so I bought a brand new cable, and then I had someone else try to use my cable and their computer and it worked fine. I called Dell and they said it was probably a motherboard problem, and it needed to be replaced, and then said I had to take the harddrive out before I sent it in. Is the harddrive the a small detachable piece where the an external wireless connection would go? Should I not take out the harddrive and let the Dell support crew do it? I'm so confused :smileysad:
