Go to SolutionCreate NFS subdirectory under /backup on Data Domain
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but there doesn't appear to be an "official" Data Domain forum.
Trying to add an nfs client to the DD and create a new subdirectory under /backup for the client. However, cannot find any way to create the subdirectory under /backup:
nfs add /backup/rman/wam csf-wam-int.domain.org
** Directory "/backup/rman/wam" does not exist. <=====
NFS export for "/backup/rman/wam" added.
The directory /backup/rman exists (created by our former backup administrator, but didn't do any knowledge transfer), and other clients have subdirectories under it:
nfs show clients
path client options
--------------------- ------------------------ ----------------------------------------
/backup bog.domain.org (rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash,secure)
/backup estuary.domain.org (rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash,secure)
/backup/rman/bog bog.domain.org (rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash,secure) <====
/backup/rman/poseidon poseidon.domain.org (rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash,secure) <====
/backup/rman/tartan tartan.domain.org (rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash,secure) <====
....
How do I create the subdirectory /backup/rman/wam on the DD for NFS export? All documentation I have found only shows how to create CIFS subdirectories.
Thanks.
