Bought a R410 to practice some server technologies such as .NET Core, Docker and VM's.
Updated the BIOS no problem.
Installed Server 2019 with zero issues.
Nice!  Problem is the fans - sounds like I'm mining bitcoin and is a huge distraction.  Seriously - at work we have 3 servers in a rack and they're nowhere near as loud as this thing.
Used Google-Fu and it seems to be a general consensus to update the BMC and or IDRAC.
So I configure IDRAC and connect.  It refuses everything I throw at it as not being compatible.
I loaded the Windows installers and tried executing them - same story.
I'm struggling to understand why it's saying that since the readme and such clearly say the machine is supported.  The OS shouldn't have diddly to do with firmware sorts of updates.
The BMC_FRMW_WIN_R234180.EXE says "The update package is not compatible with your system configuration".
How can that be?  I thought it was integral.  Tried running Dell_Lifecycle_Controller_Integration_3.3.0_for_Configuration_Manager which has both IDRAC and BMC and it complains about not having the Configuration Manager Administration Console installed.  Everything I've looked at indicates this is IDRAC - so what the heck do I do here?  IDRAC is installed and I can connect to it over the network.
Some real circular Catch-22 stuff going on here.
