On our blade chassis (M1000e's) we have initiated AC redundancy. The Dell software, under Power/Configuration/Budget/Redundancy Configuration, then shows us the following:

Attribute Value

System Input Power Cap 7928W 27051 BTU/h 68%

(0-23% = 2715W - 100% = 11637W)

Redundancy Policy AC Redundancy

Enable Dynamic Power Supply Engagement (Tick in box)

 

So, have we limited the Blade chassis configuration to a maximum of 68% of its potential?
