I lost a substantial quantity of data this evening, (i.e. all doc's in My Documents folders, Music, etc.).  Dell Tech Support and I successfully restored the data, temporarily, then data mysteriously disappeared again.  Additional attempts to restore data w/ Dell Tech Support failed.  Dell Tech suggested I contact Dell On Call for data recovery, but Dell On Call tells me that they don't do data recovery and referred me to Data Safe? @ 1 800 440-1904.  What options do I have for recovering my data?  Should I try Microsoft @ $59?  Is all lost?  Oh well, at least I have my health, I guess, which doesn't feel like much of a consolation right now?  I'll consider any ideas at this point?  It's a Verizon conspiracy because I recently dumped their lousy DSL service!
