I'm trying to reinstall Windows Xp back onto my Dell Dimension 9100. I install vista onto my computer 2 years ago and now I want it gone. The errors, crashes, and just plain old problems i decided I couldn't take it anymore. After failing to restore my Dell Dimension 9100 back to the factory date, I decided to just put Windows Xp on their myself. I did everything correctly when trying to restore to the factory. However, once I press F8 I don't have teh option to restore my computer to the factory date. Therefore, I am trying to install the Xp CD but my computer will not boot the CD in the begining. I've press F12 and made the computer boot the CD first but still nothing. I'm Lost and frustrated.
