Hi All, I don't know if this is the right place or not....

My (relatively) new inspiron 6000 has 57 processes/programs running in the back ground...!

Don't need all of these running constantly (example realplay.exe). This is not a result of me downloading lots of programs. Thats how my new inspiron came from dell. How do I go about fixing this. Any comments and help is greatly appreciated.
