I just got my Alienware 51m last weekend, and right out of the box (like during the set up process), the keyboard just stopped taking input, thought it was still lit up. After a restart, it proceeded to work again, but has since continued to cut out at random times with no rhyme or reason as to why. My mouse has been cutting in and out as well. Though it comes back after a few seconds. I've tried two different mouses, one is a wireless usb mouse, and the other is a new Alienware mouse. When the Alienware mouse cuts out, the LED light turns off. Occasionally the keyboard will cut out with the mouse. Also when the mouse cuts out, the laptop makes the noises it uses when something gets unplugged or plugged into the usb port. Any help would be great. Its incredibly frustrating.
