Paypal Refund Nightmare

I purchased a monitor from Dell on the 05/08/2020 & when I made my ordered it stated that the monitor should be with me within 2 days. I also recieved an order acknowledgement email on the same day stating that I should also receive an order con?rmation soon, which did not arrive. However, the order acknowledgement email did have a tracking app that allowed me to check the status of my order.

However, when my order didn't arrive on the 07/08/2020 I checked the tracking app & it said that my order ( Internet Receipt(IR) Number: ), hadn't even been assigned? to anyone or processed yet.

I rang Dell customer services & informed them of this issue & they informed me that due to a technical error at their end the order hadn't gone through correctly & that they would cancel my order & that the funds that were being held as ' Pending ' in PayPal would be released within 3 to 4 days as I had payed by PayPal, but a week later & my funds still haven't been released yet, so I phoned Dell customer services again & informed them of this, & the customer services agent again told me that she had once again canceled my order once again & that the funds would be released back into my PayPal account within 3 to 4 days, I informed her that this had supposed to have been done already a week ago.

I think that this level of customer service from what supposed to be a reputable company is outrageous & if my funds are not back in my account within the next 4 working days, I will need to take further action against this company.

All I wanted to do is cancel the order that failed to go through at their end, & re-order as I work form home so need a replacement monitor as soon as possible for the one that i have that is failing, but I caint do that because Dell won't release my funds for the first failed order so i'm very sceptical about placing another order when they are failing to release the funds for my first order that failed to go through, so i'm stuck using a monitor that could completely fail on me any time now & then I won't be able to earn my living.

Come on Dell, get your act together, I exspect more form a 36 year old company.
