I found an article here about USB PowerShare Feature on Dell laptops.

I use docking station k17a and it doesn't have a battery. It has the same usb powershare port symbol. 

My question is : could this port charge faster external devices, like cellphones? The limit to other ports is up to 500mA. What is its limit?
