Outlook express (windows Me)
This is the first time I am using dell/talk, and I don't know if this is the right category for me to write my problem. I tried to download a newer version of outlook express and now I can't open my outlook express. There are two error messages that come up the first is:
"outlook express cannot be started, the application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact microsoft support for further assistance. (Ox80004005)."
I then click ok, and I get the following:
Outlook express cannot be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized. Outlook express may not be installed properly.
I contacted Dell and they tried to help me, but couldn't finally said it wasn't their problem to contact microsoft, I called microsoft and before they would help me I had to give them a credit card number, this is their problem, when I run microsoft update, outlook express6 was there to download, why would they have it on their updates if it is going to give people problems. I followed directions and now I am stuck with no outlook express, is there a solution to this? I'm ashamed of microsoft and dell for not helping free of charge.
I would greatly appreciate help, I am not a computer wizard, and I have no clue what to do.
Thanks
