I turn the laptop on and get the Dell splash screen then it goes to a black screen.  The hard drive is good,  I verified that by removing the HDD and connecting it to another laptop via  a sata to USB connector and also installed the HDD in another 5420 and it booted up just fine.  Any Ideas on what to try next?
