It may be a stupid question but I couldn't find any information about this on the internet. Tried to look for a media compatibility matrix but it turns out only shows Dell tapes with tape types (with some broken links). HP media site also doesn't list PowerVault 124T as supported.

Here is the question. Does the tape drive take other brand's tapes like HP, IBM as long as the type (LTO 3, LTO 4, etc) is supported by the PowerVault?
