Does dynamic RDF # affect performance?

Now VMax has dynamic RDF group # increased to 250, what's the best practice for using the RDF groups? Is it more RDF groups, the better performance I can achieve like transfer rate etc, or it is a purely management unit ?

I'd like to know from performance point of view, if it can help increasing throughput. That is, I create more RDF groups, and evenly put the DGs on to them. - The RE ports are fixed ( 4 here - 7G/H, and 8G/H - using GigE ).

Anyone has tested?
