Error "dwwin.exe - DLL initialization failed" when shutting down.
I seem to be getting an error that says "dwwin.exe - DLL initialization failed" almost every time I shut down my E521 after using Acrobat to open certain files on the Internet, when required (forms, etc.). When I click ok to get rid of the message, I get another error "The memory at a certain location could not be read". Any idea what could be causing these errors?
I am using Acrobat 7.08 that came pre-loaded. I’ev got Microsoft Defender(resident), Adaware Personal(the free edition), a-squared(free), ATI TV software, some HP printer software and Windows Live Messenger as the only non-preloaded software on the system. The rest: McAfee 2006, Office 2003, etc. came preloaded.
Adobe Acrobat 8.0 is a resource hog and takes up more than 110 MB RAM of the system’s resources. The HP printer software has not been updated since it was purchased, so it is around 2 years old. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else.
