I am running win98 SE, on my Dell XPS B800 computer. I have 256mb RDRam, have the latest bios in stalled for it, it is a 45 gb hard drive, and want to know advice on a clean install for winXP. I know how to do a format from a startup disk, to completely remove all data, which I learned from Denny the other day. 

 

What I dont know, is after I format the drive, what is the next step? I am buying a brand new winXP from WalMart, and that is what I am going to use to install it.

 

So any suggestions after a clean format? Is there a link I could go to.
