Intel GPU 630 and Nvidia 1050 crashes apps and not working

Spent last two days researching. Lots of posts out there with the Intel 630 drivers hybrid with the Nvidia 1050 ones... reinstall windows, reinstall drivers, disabled the 630, re-enable, reinstall... at end of day all same outcome. Certain apps crash that uses the Nvidia GPU. Basic games, Blizzard Overwatch, Destiny, etc.. all slow and crashes, apps like Hitfim does not run... unless disabling one of two devices.

Ran stress test with Intel - works fine. Video test with Nvidia - hangs.. locks app...withh both enabled

Stress test with Nvidia hangs.

Disabled Intel, ran what tests were there for the Nvidia, it passed.. didnt have the wire or rendering (assumed it required the intel to be enabled?)...

XPS 9560 worked fine until recently... everything was fine until recently.. windows updates? Drivers conflicts? Broken GPU? Past warranty.. but nothing seemed to have changed.. laptop never leaves desk...

All forum posts states it up.. intel says Nvidia, Nvidia nothing, dell has posts.. and end of day it fails all Nvidia basic video tests. Right now just a great Chromebook without the GPUs working together properly.

any help appreciated... is it driver conflict or is the Nvidia actually busted?
