Dropped laptop!!! :(
Ok guys, I am here today to talk about my dell 1545 windows 7, 4gb ram 500gb hard drive which took a very hurtful fall! I was going to move rooms and my lapto slided of my laptop cushion it was turned on at the time and when I seen the laptop after the fall I left it where it was and looked at it and thought the screen had smahsed it had lots of different coulerd lines across the screen I then turned the laptop of and restarted it I was relived the screen had not smashed!! The laptop loaded up but all the time came on to the black bit where it says continiue with windows normally or whatever I clicked that and it took about 15 seconds longer than usual to load unto select user screen anyway 15 seconds after it usually did it loaded to that screen I clicked my user and entered my password, it worked fine!! I was over the moon until it crashed I held down the button to turn it of and it shut down I then restarted it it came onto the start windows normally screen again and it kept freezing on the dell logo I looked under the laptop and I pushed a few things back in place, nothing was broken of the laptop I thought the ram was unseated so I removed and reinserted them I turned it on and it got worse! It's upto the point now where it does this, turns on screen backlight on, front front circle light on then comes to a point when you press enter it says windows is loading files... It has a slim blue line at the left hand side which goes of after this message has stooped flickering then it comes up with the bar loading then comes to the desktop with a mouse loading then completely does nothing after this and the backlight goes back to just been black but still on. Then when u press down and enter it comes up with starting windows for about 10 seconds then the little cirlces come on floating circling around in the middle and does nothing. I am comepleteley baffled with what this could be and am quite annoyed as it's been a very good laptop I would love if someone could tell me wht the problem is and couldn't thanks them enough! Ive asked my dad and he said he's 99% sure it's the hard drive but I can her it running :S I have left the battery out for 1min+ just makes no change. Thats all I can really say, and wish to hear from someone soon :) will be very great full Thanks again. -Dan
