jmwillis , in the last post of my "limited or no connectivity" thread, when i said the ethernet card was faulty

 

you replied that it sounded like a chipset and nic card werent installed

 

i was hoping you could add more on this? there is a chipset download for my pc on the dell drivers page, will downloading this solve the problem? if so, can i download the NIC card, or is it a phycial card?

 

any help will be great

 

as i said, the pc is a dell dimension 5100
