I have a Dell Inspiron 660s and I'm working on upgrading the CPU and GPU.  Last week I added a Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 and it works flawlessly.  Yesterday I went to upgrade the CPU from the stock Intel Core i5 i5-3330S to an Intel Core i7 i7-3770.  Now, while the processor install was flawless and works perfectly, the system does NOT detect the GPU any more and instead uses the onboard Intel HD 4000 graphics system.  When I swap back to the stock i5, the GPU is detected again.

I have ordered an Intel i7-3770S (the lower-power variant), an i5-3570, and an i5-3570S to see if any of those will work.

Has anyone successfully used either the i7-3770 or i7-3770S with a GPU in the Inspiron 660s?
