Latitude 7300 Driver issues
Hello everyone,
I work for a company that recently rolled out Dell 7300's with D6000 Universal docking stations.
I've noticed on quite a few of the 7300's we have encountered the following issues:
1) Hot plugging USB devices directly into the workstation will not function until the computer is restarted
2) USB ports on the D6000 do not function (tested multiple devices)
3) Keyboard and mouse support at Bitlocker/McAfee endpoint works seldom to not at all and usually requires an external keyboard just to get to the windows login screen
Here is what I've tried:
Updating: BIOS, Chipset, Thunderbolt drivers/firmware, Host controller, USB firmware, DisplayLink 6000 drivers (Latest and from the Dell support website)
Troubleshooting : USB devices with errors; Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)
I have checked the Event log for errored devices and noticed the following output:
Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\6&10d41730&0&4 had a problem starting
Driver Name: USB.inf
Class Guid: [36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000]
