I have a WD15 at work, it works

Bought one used for home office; it powers on, USB & audio ports work but none of the display ports work.  Is this a common thing & is there any known fix?

Laptop is 7280 (Win10x64).  At work WD15 with same laptop works with external displays on VGA & MiniDP.  At home, laptop can use both of my external displays individually if they are plugged into the HDMI port of the laptop.  They don’t work at all when connected through the dock.

I only had a 65w power adapter at home, so I brought home the 130w adapter from work, same problems.

So I know the laptop is ok, & the external displays at home are ok…

I tried updating the home dock firmware with 1.08 & 1.09 updates.  Both give the same error, failed to  read dock info, & they never attempt to apply the update.
