Dimension 2400 PSU question
I'm going to upgrade my stock 200W Dimension 2400 PSU. I've heard a few stories about people frying their mobos by upgrading using none branded Dell PSUs?. I just need to know if I can use a standard ATX PSU in my 2400?. After doing a few searches of this forum it seems there are some conflicting views on the compatibilty of the Dimension 2400. Some say they use standard ATX PSUs some say they don't?. Can anyone tell me for sure whether or not I can just use a non Dell branded PSU off the shelf of my local PC store?. I really don't want to risk frying my mobo.
I found this one on ebuyer that is within my budget and will hopefully work ok CLICKY. Would this be compatible in my system?. My Dell was made around May 2003 if that helps any. If not can anyone suggest a suitable PSU for my 2400?. Thanks in advance!.
