I keep hearing strange sounds when the hard drive is at work, it sounds like the same sound when the floppy is being used, and also almost always I hear a sound..kind of the same sound of a coffee pot brewing, and its load. I have sent E-mail to Dell support, but they keep running me threw all different things to try. so far I have taken my computer apart, changed my windows theme sound, did a dirty and a clean install. a sysem restore.

The sounds that sound like the floppy is bieng read, those I get when I do a restart, when windows is loading, and going from websight to websight. the coffe pot brewing sounds, I get that all the time, I am hearing it now..I didnt get this before, I am still under warienty till june of 2004 I am also getting lock ups.
