Hello Community,

I am having a problem trying to access the recovery partition on my alienware.  First I tried to use the Dell datasafe program but it was giving me an error, told me to insert the windows CD and after a few clicks I must have started the reinstall process.   

Now I am sitting with a new OS but that is not what I wanted.  I want to have my computer reinstall all the software so it would be just like I got it on the 1st day.  

So my question is, how can I access the recovery partition?  will I be able to restore my computer to its intial factory setting/software.

what options do I have?
