Thanks dgkpcom. It appears as though we have the same sound arrangement, X-FI EXTREME ETC. I have not hooked up speakers yet and am wondering if I connect speakers will it sound like 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

If it is surround sound speaker system it will be 5.1,and it does sound awesome.The only way to get 7.1 is if you have a 7 surround sound speakers.Gaming is even better with 5.1.

 

If/when you do hook it up go to creatives site and install there expresscard driver,and the other app. drivers for EAX,and media source drivers.
