Help Please - Rounded screw heads!

Hi,

I'm badly in need of some help. My inspiron 2500 has been taken appart, maintained, upgraded so many times now that the screws holding the case together are getting rounded heads.

I already decided earlier in the year to leave the screw out of my HD chasis because it was so rounded, now one of the corner screws and the memory and comm card bays screws are rounded, I can't get them out.

The more imediate problem is that the keyboard/mouse ribbon inside has become disconnected and if i can't get that one corner screw out, i can't open it up to replace it.

Short of smashing the corner of the laptop case I don't know what else to do. The metal of the screws is so soft, I'm almost certainly making it even more round with every attempt.

If anyone has any suggestions, or in fact: unless anyone has any suggestions, I might as well throw the laptop out cauz without a keyboard and mouse, it's really quite useless.

(And If i ever get all the screws out, I'm replacing them with somthing made of heavy-construction grade metal. maybe titanium or gold.)

Thanks!
