SP2208WFP Power Supply Question
Hi all,
I just unpacked and installed my new Vostro400 with SP2208WFP Monitor.
Much to my surprise, there was no power supply cable in the monitor box, so I had to look for a suitable one in the cables I had lying around. The problem is, they all have different amperage and voltage and I don't know which values are supposed to be on the missing original cable. I picked one with the same amperage and voltage of the one supplying power to the main unit: 10A/250V and it seems to work perfectly.
But I am wondering.. could anyone who reads this take a quick look at their power cable connected to the monitor (possibly a Dell 22') and tell me which values you have?
By using a cable identical to the one of the main unit, the monitor is certainly not underpowered, but the cable is too short and I would like to know if I could say plug a 5A or 8A Cable to the monitor in order to be able to move it around to watch movies form another POV.
Thanks all and greets from Switzterland
Andrea
