library media management
Hi Guys
Is it possible to either
A: automatically withdraw a media when a particular group has completed backing up
or
B: mark any tape which has had data written to it as full. thereby the next scheduled backup will go to the next empty tape in the library.
This is in order to avoid any tape being appended to or potentially overwritten.
I need to set this up to ensure data integrity over bank holidays, days off etc.
Im using a Dell ML6020 library which is partitioned in two libraries. (17 slots in each)
and Legato 7.3.2 Jumbo
any ideas ?
