I have a Inspiron 1501 with XP, 1390 Mini Card. When I first got the Laptop the Wireless card was picking up our home router with no problem but it seems that since the Dell Network Assistant expired it hasn't worked since (however that could be just a coincidence). When I go into the Wireless WLAN Card utility & click site monitor, a few networks show up & a couple of them have an alright signal but they are locked as they appear to be the neighbour's networks, but my home network shows up ocassionally but with very faint signal & it doesn't matter how close or far away I go I can't get a connectable signal. Could the Dell Network Assistant have something to do with why I can't get it to work,do I need the program for brillinat signal?

 

I did the ipconfig under cmd & got this for anyone who knows anything about what it all means..
