I finally fixed my Dell 7920 random freezing while idling issue and NVME VROC raid issues. I pulled all the components out of my Dell 7920 and installed them into a refurbished LENOVO P920. 

 

CPU, GPU, Ram, NVMEs, VROC Key etc....same components moved from one system to another and all issues resolved. 

Save yourself some headache and dont buy a Dell workstation....complete garbage that cost me thousands of dollars and countless hours.
