I recently purchased an upgrade version of PowerPoint 2003 thar requires that I currently have a licensed version of Microsoft Office on my computer. I purchased a new Dell XPS in Feburary 2006 with MS Office 2003 basic on it. When I attempted to upgrade with the PowerPoint I received a message that it could not locate my licensed version of MS Office. I placed the CD that came with my Dell in the disk drive and still would not recognized the licensed version. How can I get the PowerPoint upgrade version to work?
