I have had problems with my Maxtor Hard drive (120MB) (re-formatted once, repaired system settings once), and am in the process of installing a second drive (Seagate 80MB).  Would it be better to run the operating system (XP) and programs on the new drive as opposed to the old one, and leave the old one for file storage?  This is in a Dimension 8300.
