Dell latitude 5300

I got a Dell latitude 5300 series from work. At home I have an iiyama screen, 3440 x 1440 compatible. Connected via an HDMI cable, the laptop does not get higher than 1920 x 1080 when the screen is extendered or when the screen is only displayed on the iiyama screen. Is the Dell latitude 5300 suitable for this setting or is 1920 x 1080 the max?
