XPS 9700 Keyboard not working first boot
Good day all!
I own a DELL XPS 9700 and I take good care of it. Since about a litte more then a month ago, most of my keyboard has stopped working after the first startup. The function keys for controlling the keyboard and screen lighting and similar features still work, but letter keys, enter, esc, backspace, and so on do not.
I’ve already run the internal Dell diagnostics tools (after pressing F12 at boot) a couple of times at first startup and no errors were found. I’ve also rolled the BIOS back one version, reinstalled the keyboard drivers in Windows, and so on. The XPS is at Windows 11 25H2, build 26200.7019, and has installed with the latest updates. I’ve also uninstalled the most recent Windows update, scanned for viruses and rootkits, etc. nothing found.
A colleague also has an XPS (a 9500) and is experiencing the same issue, although in his case it seems more random. For me, it always happens on the first startup. If I turn the laptop off for a few hours, the same problem occurs again.
Is anyone else experiencing these issues? It seems to me that this is a software or BIOS-related problem.
There is nothing to tell about other anomalies, everything else is working just fine.
Hope to get some help here.. thanks in advance!

Today I have found the solution: Disable Quick Start.
You can find it in the Energie management settings.
Have a good day!
