I got m17xR1 MLK, cpu: XQ9100 3,06ghz duo core, graphic GTX 280M and 8gb ddr3 ram...

I'm thinking to buy a pair of ATI 5870 cards as AndrewSi said and ... I was thinking... R1 motherboard allow more than 8gb ddr3 ram? or better cpu than XQ9100?
