I'm having a terrible time reinstalling the device driver for my inspiron 5100 on W2K. Every time I try it says that I need to install a video driver (which is of course, my deepest desire) and set up my system with a standard VGA. I've used the menu from the F8 key at startup to make sure it's in 'VGA mode' but to no avail. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm getting tired of the tiny window and 16 bit colors.
